Top Vastu Tips For Your Agricultural Land

Top Vastu Tips For Your Agricultural Land

When it comes to Hindu Beliefs, Vastu is given a lot of importance. Vastu Shastra, otherwise known as the Science of Architecture in English, is a science in Hindu Mythology that is believed to bring about happiness and prosperity along with a lot of positive vibes and energy. Whether you are seeking positive energy at home or in your agricultural plot, following the rules of Vastu can help you achieve your desired goals.

Consistency and patience are two virtues of Vastu. If followed rigorously, nothing can stop you from achieving happiness and wealth wherever you go. While we have already discussed Vastu tips that will ensure prosperity at your home, now we want to go a step further. Studies suggest that 2022 is going to be the year where the majority of the Indian population moves towards buying agricultural land. This is because of several benefits that this type of plot offers. Purchasing agricultural land and yielding profits is predicted to be the new form of investing.

Clearly, there has been a significant increase in the importance of purchasing agricultural land. The good news is that the principles of Vaastu are also relevant to agricultural land and can lead to greater yield for your production. We want to make sure you are familiar with all kinds of rituals that you can perform and things you can keep in mind while constructing your agricultural plot. Agricultural plots have been in the picture for decades now and that is one reason why we know that the Vastu tips listed below are effective and easy to follow through. After all, what is better than techniques that have been tried and tested time and again for years now?

Levelled Land and Slope

As far as the concepts of Vastu go, no land should ever be unlevelled. In case you can’t level every piece of land, make sure that the unlevelled land is north/south facing. For a slope, always construct them in a way that they are facing the north/east direction. If any piece of the plot has a downward slope, it is said that this will lead to extreme losses for the owner. The logic behind this is that a downward slope symbolizes a higher expenditure as compared to the income of the owner. For best results, try and make the majority of your land smooth and multi-levelled.

Sowing Seeds

The sowing of new seeds should always take place on an auspicious day. Out of the 7 days, Saturdays and Tuesdays are considered to be the most auspicious. The day should begin with the chanting of hymns. Surya Mantra or the Gayatri Mantra are ideal chanting prayers. The process of sowing needs to begin from the southeast direction, eventually moving clockwise. The logic behind this is that if plants receive ample sunlight, the quality of agricultural production will automatically improve.

Compound Wall

Make sure you build both a thick and a high compound wall. Numerically, the length of the wall should be between 10 to 20 feet and it should have a height of at least 6 feet. The best corners for building these walls are in the south and west directions. Constructing the wall on the north or east side can lead to losses and bad crops.

Shape of Land

According to Vastu, a rectangular or square shape is the most ideal for agricultural land. While reshaping the land, ensure that you do not cut it in the southwest/southeast direction. To achieve the right shape of the agricultural plot, you can construct a brick wall with a height of 2 to 4 feet. If you have difficulties in molding the shape of the plot, it is okay to remove the compound wall for this purpose.

Storing Water by Boring and Underground Tank

For bringing about positive energy across the plot, place the boring and underground tanks in the northern and southern directions of the land. Southeast, southwest, and northwest directions should be avoided at all costs. If you decide to construct a pipe or drainage system for irrigation purposes, build it from the south to the north direction.

Agricultural Equipment

This tip will not work if you do not place all of your equipment in the suggested direction. The southern and the southwest directions are the most preferred. It is believed that placing equipment in the north, east, and northeastern directions can harm crops and production. However, farm vehicles are an exception - they should be placed in the north direction of the plot.

Sacred Fire Pit

Preparations and the implementation of the sacred fire ritual should take place in the evening. The very first bundles of the new harvest need to be offered to the Lord of Agni (fire). Place these bundles in the east direction along with the tamarind (Imli) spice. If your reaping season and the new moon take place on the same day, you are also supposed to crack a coconut next to the newly harvested bundles.

Farm House

Since farmhouses are extremely trending these days, it felt important to include some tips about these kinds of plots too. Vastu principles suggest that your farmhouse should be built in the southwestern direction of the agricultural land. All equipment that is stored inside the farmhouse should be in the same direction as equipment arranged on the agricultural land. Most of the time the owner of the farmhouse is the same as the owner of the agricultural land, hence making the whole process a lot easier.

You are not alone if you ever feel like these activities are slightly irrelevant and can be ignored or neglected. However, we would not be advising you to follow these tips if we did not know that they work for sure. Each and every tip mentioned above is based on scientific research and intensive mathematical calculations. A common factor in following through all these principles is making sure you are getting the direction-based attributes right. When it comes to Vastu and its practices, it is the small things that matter.

On a lighter note, if you are still confused on whether you should even buy an agricultural plot or drop the idea altogether, knowing pros and cons of buying agricultural land may help you reach your final decision. Once you have purchased the land and are moving towards construction, remember to try if not at all then some of these tips! You never know, they might end up doing wonders for you and your land!

We would love to hear about your experience with the results yielded from following Vaastu principles. Do not limit your opinions to just the agricultural land, tell us about the Vastu practices you follow at your home too!
