Overview of E-Nibandhan Jharkhand

Stamp duty is a kind of tax that the government collects to transfer the property ownership rights. In contrast, the registration charges are collected on property registration. Both are required at the time of transfer of ownership.

The e-nibandhan online portal was launched to promote more transparency and accuracy among individuals. Buyers benefit from the portal because it allows them to pay stamp duty and registration fees online rather than going to the office.

In Jharkhand, e-Nibandhan plays a vital role in collecting the stamp duty and registration charges at the time of registering the property.
