A New Biggest Colony In Asia Coming Up In Competition With Kankarbagh
As per an article from Telangana today, it was announced last year that Asia’s largest housing colony will be inaugurated by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in Hyderabad soon. It will have 15,600 houses that are spread across 112 blocks. It will be constructed under the Dignity Housing Scheme laid by the State government for the poor. It will have first-of-a-kind amenities and facilities in the country. It was even announced that no other metro city in the country would have provided a house like this to the poor without any involvement of brokers, and free of cost.
The State Government has a total budget of Rs 18,000 crore for 2BHK housing with Rs 9,714 crores allocated to Hyderabad.
