Haryana Property Tax: Steps To Pay The Tax Online 

Below are the steps to pay Haryana property tax online. 

Step 1: Navigate to the ULB Haryana property tax website at https://ulbharyana.gov.in or https://ulbhryndc.org/.

Step 2: Select ‘Online Services’ from the homepage. 

Step 3: Now click the URL before paying property tax dues.

Step 4: A new page will appear, i.e., the Property Tax Dues Management Page and No Dues Certificate Management Page of the ULB, Haryana. 

Step 5: If you are already registered with this portal, log in by mentioning your registered number. And select citizens from the login type drop-down list. 

Step 6: If you are not a registered user, click the ‘new registration’ option and start registering. Once registered, enter the property details like district, village, locality, house number, name of the owner, and property number. 

Step 7: Now you have to mention the details and pay property tax online in Haryana using a credit card, debit card, UPI, RTGS, or IMPS. 


Haryana Property Tax: Steps To Verify A Payment 

Once you have paid the online ULB Haryana property tax, you can verify the payment status from the portal. Follow the below-mentioned steps to verify the Haryana property tax payment. 

Step 1: Visit the official ULB Haryana property tax website at ulbhryndc.org.

Step 2: Select the ‘Privacy Policy’ option from the bottom. 

Step 3: Choose the ‘Verify Payment’ option from the top. 

Step 4: A new window will appear where you must enter the transaction, owner, and mobile numbers. 

Step 5: Select the ‘Search’ option, and your payment status will be available on the screen.

Haryana Property Tax: Steps To Create A New Property ID

The government provides a unique property ID in Haryana for each house. If you are having difficulty paying property tax online in Haryana, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Navigate to the Haryana house tax portal.

Step 2: Login using your registered number and mention the OTP.

Step 3: The property registered under your name will appear after logging in. 

Step 4: You can also search by district, municipality, colony, property ID, owner, name, or mobile number. 

Step 5: If you want to do a property ID search in Haryana, click on the ‘Please Click Here’ link at the bottom. 

Step 6: Read the terms and conditions thoroughly and click ‘proceed.’ 

Step 7: A new page will appear where you must mention the property and owner’s details. 

Step 8: Choose the name of the district, municipality, and colony where the property is situated.

Step 9: Mark your property by dragging the pointer. 

Step 10: This is the step where you have to fill in the owner's details. 

Step 11: Add the owner and mention the construction details. 

Step 12: After submitting the details, a declaration form will appear. Go through the text carefully. After you are done reading, click on ‘Submit.’ 

Step 13: Once you submit the form, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number. 

Step 14: Mention the OTP, and an application number will be generated. 

Step 15: Keep this application number, as it will be needed to know the property ID Haryana application status.

Haryana Property Tax: Steps To Know The Application Status

After applying for the property ID in Haryana on the online portal, you can check the application status online too. All you need is the application number to check the status of the house tax property ID number in Haryana. Follow the below-mentioned steps to know the status of your application online. 

Step 1: Navigate to the Haryana property tax portal and log in. 

Step 2: Go to the My Property/Payment option.

Step 3: A list of properties with unique property IDs will appear in your window. You can check if your property is on the list or not. 

Step 4: If your property is unavailable, the property ID has yet to be assigned. 

Step 5: You can click the ‘application status’ option, and a new window will appear. 

Step 6: On the new page, fill in your application number and click on Application Status. 

The status of property ID Haryana will be made available on your screen. 


Haryana Property Tax: Exemptions

  • A one-time 30% discount is given to property owners who pay off all their property tax arrears or dues within 45 days of receiving notification. 

  • 10% of the tax due for the assessment year is refunded to taxpayers who pay it in full by July 31. 

  • The Haryana property tax excludes buildings or lands attached to religious properties.

  • The state government buildings will receive a 50% rebate, with some exceptions.
