The MCF house tax online or offline payment can only be successful if the citizen submits the below-mentioned documents:

  • Haryana government-assigned property identification card

  • Name of the owner

  • Aadhar card number

  • Proof of residential address in Haryana 

  • Property tax invoice

MCF Property Tax Online Payment Process

Citizens don't have to wait in long government office queues to pay MCF property tax in Faridabad. The ULB Department has made the process seamless via the Urban Local Bodies Haryana Portal. 

Below are the steps to pay MCF property tax online. 

Step 1: To pay MCF property tax online, visit: ulbharyana.gov.in.

Step 2: Select the 'Online Services' option from the homepage. 

Step 3: You will be redirected to another page, where you must fill in the details to search for an MCF property ID. 

Step 4: Choose "Search" and the final amount and due date, and select to pay your payment taxes. 

Step 5: Now download the receipt after the MCF property tax payment online is done. 


MCF Property Tax Online Payment Verification Procedure

Post making the MCF house tax online payment, you can check the payment status by following the below steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the ULB Haryana portal and select the 'Privacy Policy tab.

Step 2: A new window will appear; select 'Verify Payment.' 

Step 3: On this verification page, you must fill in details such as transaction number, owner details, etc. 

Step 4: Now click 'search,' and the payment status will appear in your window. 


MCF Property Tax Offline Payments

If someone is unable to pay MCF house tax online, they can choose to pay offline. Just follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1: Go to the municipal corporation office in your area.

Step 2: Ensure to bring documents like IDs and property documents for verification by the authority.

Step 3: Once the verification is complete, you can pay the MCF Property Tax offline to the authority or ward office. 

Post these steps, and collect the receipt for future reference.

Property Tax in Faridabad: Exemptions

Several properties in Faridabad are not obligated to pay MCF property tax. Below is the list:

  • Buildings and land owned by the union government, corporations, and the state government. 

  • Agricultural lands and lands used for educational purposes

  • Vacant buildings that are occupied for public worship, charity purposes, or cremation grounds. 

  • Corporation offices and property owned by the political party recognized by the Election Commission of India. 

Calculation of Property Tax In Faridabad

The property tax bill in Faridabad will be computed based on the below-mentioned factors.

  • Rent per sq ft. or monthly rental value

  • Type of building, i.e., commercial or residential

  • Use of building per sq ft

  • The age of the property 

  • Municipal ward

  • price per square foot

  • Property depreciation

Property Tax in Faridabad: Last Date & Penalty

MCF Property tax is collected in two installments each year. The first half's payment is due on April 30, while the second half is due on October 30. Additionally, taxpayers have the option to make both their property tax selections and payments by July 31. It's important to note that if taxpayers delay their payment, they will be subject to an interest rate of 1.5% per month, which will be added to the total property tax due.
