In this blog, we will delve into the details of NH 14, its route, and the role it plays in the development of real estate, as an upcoming bypass road along a portion of NH 14 highway is likely to enhance real estate investments in the connecting areas.

NH 14: Recent Developments

There are noteworthy plans in store for National Highway 14 in the near future. In February 2023, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road, Transport, and Highways, unveiled proposals for the construction of a bypass road in Raniganj along NH 14.

The government has given the green light for an estimated investment of around Rs. 410 crores for this bypass road project. Stretching approximately 5.2 km, this bypass road will be situated in the Paschim Bardhaman District of West Bengal. The upcoming NH 14 bypass road is expected to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance connectivity among various industrial and agricultural zones.

NH 14: Catalyzing Real Estate Growth And Economic Prosperity

National Highway 14 (NH 14) stands as a crucial lifeline in West Bengal, not just for its transportation significance but also for its profound impact on the real estate sector and economic growth.

With an influx of people commuting and possibly settling in these areas, the demand for housing is expected to surge, thereby increasing rental yields. Real estate developers are likely to take note of this trend and invest in creating residential spaces that cater to the growing population, further stimulating the real estate market.

National Highway 14 Impact On Inter-State Connectivity

One of NH 14's most significant contributions is its seamless inter-state connectivity within West Bengal.
